5 Ways to Organize Your Therapy Materials

Every pediatric therapist knows how time-consuming managing therapy materials can be. Organizing your materials helps you save time. But how should you go about it? I collaborated with Speech-Language Pathologist, Natalia Alfaro, MS. CCC-SLP to share 5 of our best organizing containers.

  1. Clear zippered bags

These are perfect for storing smaller manipulatives.

  2. Large tote bags

You can get these at Marshall’s; they are inexpensive and are great for transporting materials.

  3. Plastic "shoeboxes"

These boxes allow you to easily see your materials and access them quickly.

  4. Felt caddy

These are great for sorting and separating materials.

  5. Large storage bins

These a good for storing books, for dividing and rotating toys and materials.

What is your favorite way to organize your therapy materials?
